September Luncheon Speaker – Suzanne Asaff Blankenship

Suzanne’s experience with eldercare came the hard way – by doing it. Suzanne is in the second decade of eldercare, managing both her mother's care as well as her in-laws. After countless conversations, discussions and requests for advice, Suzanne decided to share what she discovered with others walking the same path.  Her guidance is practical but delivered with the laughter that makes the journey so much more doable.  Suzanne will have you crying tears of laughter with her quips, her lens of humor and her refreshing honesty.  Her book is short, packed with guidance, resources and real ways to stay ahead of the next eldercare emergency.  You can read it in one night and return to it over and over as needed.

Suzanne has spent her 20-year corporate career in marketing and customer service, leading and training teams at The Coca-Cola Company, Bueno Foods, and Ogilvy & Mather as well as her own consulting firm, Parkin & Blankenship.

Born in Longview, Texas and raised in Dallas, Suzanne now calls Colorado home. She believes in advocacy, the importance of family, and the need for balance in life. Humor is her favorite resource.
