As Four Seasons Farmers & Artisans Market in Wheat Ridge enters its second year, it is partnering with Ridge at 38/Localworks to enlarge its summer outdoor market as a regional Saturday destination on W. 38th, with double the number of participating farmers and other vendors.
The Ridge at 38 Four Seasons Outdoor Market will begin on Saturday, May 13th, from 9am -2pm, and run until Saturday, October 28th. Space for expansion of the market along the north side of W. 38th Avenue has been made available by neighboring Aspen Dental. Enjoy music by the Lila Bloom Band on Opening Day!
The Four Seasons Spring Arts and Crafts fair is scheduled for the opening summer market day, to highlight additional local artists and crafters, just in time for Mother's Day.
A free Urban Gardening Expo (10am -2pm) will also be hosted by Localworks (formerly Wheat Ridge 2020) in collaboration with Four Seasons as part of the market opening day celebration, with presentations on gardening topics every hour between 10am and 2pm.
Four Seasons Farmers & Artisans Market is located at 7043 West 38th Avenue in Wheat Ridge and is the only year-round indoor farmers market in the Denver area. The market highlights unique farm-direct products including local vegetables and fruit, raw cow's and goat's milk, goat's milk, cheese, salsa and pasta sauce, jelly and jam, baked goods, free range chicken eggs and duck eggs, flowers, organic grains, beef, pork, lamb and bison from grass fed operations and much more. The emphasis of the market in on healthy, high quality local foods.
Several local artists exhibit their works at the market, making Four Seasons a hidden art gallery gem in the heart of Wheat Ridge. Art on display includes western photography, jewelry and paintings.
Look for special events at the market throughout the summer, including Dairy Day, Grain Day, Lavender Festival and Honey Festival. The indoor market is open year-round Tues- Fri 12-6pm, Sat. 9am- 2pm, and Sun. 10am-2pm.
